What this site is

Season & Pantry publishes recipes, cooking guides and opinions about food and kitchen equipment. Everything is free to read. There is no shop and no paid membership.

Cooking is your own responsibility

Recipes are written for a home kitchen. Ovens, pans and ingredients differ, so use your own judgement on cooking times and temperatures, and follow standard food safety practice: cook meat, fish and eggs through, cool leftovers quickly, and keep raw and cooked food apart. Preserving, fermenting and canning carry real risks if done wrong; follow the safety notes in those posts.

Allergies and diets

Check every ingredient and label yourself if you cook for someone with an allergy or intolerance. We cannot guarantee that a recipe is free of any particular allergen.

Nutrition information

Anything we write about nutrition is general information, not medical or dietary advice, and does not replace a consultation with a doctor or dietitian.
